If you buy an Inteceptor for xxx£3,500 are you going to need to spend thousands to actually make it useable?

You'd probably have to spend some money on having it resprayed!

Brown is the new black. Brasillia in this case?

Anyhow, as I child I hated brown with a passion. Sunday best was brown, later my school uniform. Then I bought 119/082. It was Moorland Peat with Metallic Fawn roof and Beige hide. Against my sensibilities perhaps, but absolutely georgeous! (I remember thinking I'd probably buy the car just on the colour combo alone if the rest of it stood scrutiny after initially arranging to view it.)

Checked the data book after purchasing it and it stated the car was Stratosphere Blue with a Crystal Blue roof. I was devasted. To the point of wanting to sell the car. A little more research and I found the car was resprayed before delivery, so I decided to keep her, and will restore her the way she was delivered. There are no doubt some who would prefer the car in its original and unique guise. (No other Mk I FFs were delivered in Stratosphere/Crystal Blue with Beige but one other in Moorland Peat/Fawn/Beige.)

not the worst, but does need lots of help, I went a couple of years ago,the bonnet cable had snapped so I opened it up for him,got it running, seemed all there, interior was fooked, wasn't a rusty reck, good project for someone. Nice fellow,in the paint game, had a mint charger & liked this, but could spare the time to fully sort it.I bet less than 3 will buy it.

The power of EBAY

Post by Tone »

Hey,

Just shows you the power of ebay sometimes! I looked at this car a while back when it was for sale on autotrader for xxx£3k ono. I got the impression that I could have got it for less. Stick it on ebay with no reserve and you get more! 8)
