Jensen Interceptor III for sale
Hi,
I have a project car for sale, LHD, on English plates, MK III. The car is almost complete, misses the cable tree, on rear light and 2 front seat frames. The chrome is in good condition. The car was driven last 3 years ago. I have the blue bonnet that matches the car. The body is in good shape.
My asking price is 17500 euros.
Please contact me for further questions

Off to the parters or preferably the chrusher. Anyone buying this will need to also stop off and buy a nice tarp to put car under for next 10 years before moving to a "barn" so can be adverised as barn find. Will need tons of asperger symtoms for anyone to reassemble and a freezing garage for use in coming winter. Certainly a mighty challenge even the fabled John W would baulk at. Kenny38

Kenny, Kenny, Kenny. Oh, how different we are (for instance, I’d guess I’m taller than you and you’re more handsome than me).
From my perspective, while it’s an incomplete car (never ideal), the upper surfaces of that Jensen look superb - rust free, great gaps (hopefully the original bonnet is still with the car - hence not only are the gaps good but the profile across the wing tops consistent)…..and above all the metal work hasn’t been b*ggered about with. Great shell, which subject to a proper assessment, could be the making of a superb quality restoration.
To send you into apoplexy…..if only that rusty black MK111 still being advertised with vegetation growing in it was LHD, that would make the perfect parts car to provide the restorer with many of those important missing widgets etc. Albeit a brave person with deep pockets and little interest in costs versus current market value.

Re: Jensen Interceptor III for sale
Hi all
An interesting car
I believe that this is Chassis No 133/5880
Ex Factory 24.10.72
Originally Pacific Blue with a Black Vinyl Roof and Blue interior
A USA Car
Now I believe carrying Chassis No 140/5880
For this to have occurred would this have needed to pass back through Jensen Motors at some time in its past??
Earliest information i have on this car is only back to 2021
With English Plates GVG 885 K, i i assume that it was imported back to this Country early in its life
Kind regards

Jim, nothing much passes you by. Keep up the good work Sir!
Shaun, it maybe alright for you, but as hot air rises under a tarp, I think I may have made the wrong decision on such a hot humid day.

Thanks a lot for your opinion. From the reading I did on the JOC site in the last couple of years, I got to know you as one of the experts of the club. I, however, was not aware that running down some one else was custom here.

I agree, who in their right mind would scrap that car?

I was going to write something similar. This appears (from the photos) to be a car where you can see exactly what you are getting.
No quarter inch deep layer of moss covering rusted-through sections of chassis, nor thickly laid on red oxide primer, covering God knows what. If I had to choose between a car in this state or one with brambles growing over the top, I know which I would choose to look at first...

Re: Jensen Interceptor III for sale, now reduced price
Dear all,
I am willing to sell for 12500 euro's. Car is in the Netherlands. I bought 2 front seats from Jensen Service, UK. They are in good shape. It makes the car complete, without 1 rear light, and the wiring loom, which needed renewal.
