Hi, Stu. In one way congrats on getting your "happy" price. Another way of seeing it is that you WILL miss her. IO do believe you did take a leap of faith when you put your car up for auction. Your car was an outlier at auction being a true quality car. usually auctions are for tyre kickers and "part restored" back when. Or outright tarp dwellers in search of a corner house block. No real bargains as if bought spend another 20-30K to restore to your car's condition or am I being a shade optomistic? Good luck in the future and have been really interested by your posts. I hoped that the previous media coverage and time I took preparing the car and it’s documentation helped sell the car.

Also my 12 year thread of the restoration is available for all to read.

Maybe it will start a trend of good cars selling for good prices..
