Looks on the surface that someone has got a bargain there! I was surprised this didn't sell when advertised for £34k, unless others know something I don't? 🤷🏻‍♂️ (which is highly likely! 🤣🤣🤣)

Always difficult to say why one car sells and another doesn't.

It may be a simple as many people do not like white cars at the moment. The 17" wheels are not to everyone's taste as also may be said of the front valence extension and lack of over riders on the bumpers, The presentation however was not nearly as good as Pymmie's recent advert of course ( wheels off pictures, numerous invoices etc). The pictures do not flatter the panel gaps..but it might just be the angle! When did this one last receive any meaningful attention?

The fit and finish of this one from the pictures does leave a lot to be desired and it will need more money spending on it very soon. There are few pictures of the underside but the bubbling rear valence, lack of working air con, possible paint overspray on the spare wheel, seat bolster damage, bulkhead insulation condition, condition of the underside of both doors, stray fuel vent pipe in the engine bay, lack of bonnet insulation and painted over bonnet striker plates could all be added to the snagging list of the new owner. As for the bill to produce "new rear lowering blocks"...that might need a look at too.

Probably a fair price IMHO bearing in mind the issues.

The nonstandard front panel work was a big red flag for me. It stinks of a rotten front end that someone found a cheaper way of repairing. Was that really a part of a no expense spared body restoration, done on an English wheeled lead loaded properly? It is still a great car, good value. If you are running this as a company car and financing it, that could work out well.
