Looks pretty good on the outside, engine bay looks a bit ??? I’d have a lot more confidence in its “ready to run” condition if it had a battery!

No Jensen valve covers… :(

Not a bad looking car. Early 440 means it is probably an actual High Performance engine too. How does the auction company let the seller advertise without putting a battery in the car to see if the engine at least cranks over. Right now the mechanical condition is totally unknown. :)

Never mind
There does appear to be bubbling in the paint at the bottom of the driver’s door, corrosion marks leaking down from the fuel door, and some extra bubbling around the rear windshield.
Both sunshades operate as intended
sells it for me along with
the exhaust shows minor discoloration
...not rust however!

I don't think Bonhams should be criticised for their detailed list of minor defects. It helps set expectations. If it did not have the defects, it would sell for more. It's an auction - the buyers decide what is the right price.

I do agree that selling it as "ready to run" but "untested" is a bit much!

No-one has commented on the bonnet bulge, which must mean that it is subtle.

First LHD to receive the 440 for North America was beginning with serial 5551. So, this Int 3 is a G-series LHD originally came with the 383 powerplant.

So Bonhams is now selling it for the second time misrepresented as a 440? So very easy to tell the difference too. Very poor on their part. :)
