Things were going well until the decision was made to colour code the door handles, fit the roll bar upside down and fit that bespoke exhaust system....but no auction reserve.

Re: LHD Int at Bonhams USA 140- 8963
Sold today for $41,440 inc. 12% buyer's premium. I received the condition report and photos from Bonham's on this one. Restored in by a previous owner in Hawaii from 2003-2006, then held in a California collection from 2012-2022. Very extensive documentation provided--over 140 receipts for parts/repairs during the restoration. Bonham's rep was very responsive and helpful in providing details. The bids passed my ceiling for this one--with not having run for 10 years, the "mechanical refurbishment" highlighted in the auction description felt like it would push the total investment to nearly $50k U.S.--I'm still working to find one that's complete and ready to drive!
Thanks,
Steve
