Re: MK 1 115/2574
Only one picture and very little information. Seems to be completely changed though. Originally was Mist Grey with black interior, now red with grey roof and tan interior. Should have engine 612/15B. Last taxed in the UK in 1980. I wonder where it was between 1980 and the first inspection in Finland in 1994.

Here's a link to the auction with quite a few photos, but none from below:

Torino key number 3065 indicates that at least the door locks are from a different car! Shame it's so far away from me otherwise I'd go and have a look over it.

Re: MK 1 115/2574
Don't know the auction results, but the car is for sale directly via Triangle Motor Co. for €27,900.. Not a bad price. Part of my mind hopes someone in the UK would pick this RHD car back to the home..
This 2574 was never added to the Mk1 online registry.

Re: MK 1 115/2574
I think Copart was an unusual path to try and sell a classic car. Copart are more usually associated with vehicle salvage sales. You can only find the bidding result if you happen to be watching the auction at the exact time it ends. They don't publish any selling results.

Re: MK 1 115/2574
By coincidence, when picking up another car, I saw this.
In for repair of the corrosion in the footwells - not much though.
Otherwise the underside looked to be in pretty good shape. I was told that the underbody will be cleaned up.
Also some paint repairs will be done - at the hatch.
I was told that the car will come up for sale again in a while, when these works have been carried out.
