If you have the money, this a bargain.

Did this car win gold at our virtual cocours last year? A stunner. Pity, owner has to part ways Kenny38

Someone has got one hell of a bargain.

That is a bargain, but I never feel cars sell well at this time of year with most people thinking about christmas and not really being able to use a classic much till March/April when the weather improves and most events start again.
I know you can use them all year round but most wont especially with such a nice example as this.

This car of Ron Smiths has been admired by members of the JOC and public at small and the largest of classic car shows .It is a credit to Ron and hopefully always will be.
When I first set my eyes upon it in 1990, I was stunned by the looks and quality.
By the way this is my first ever posting on the Forum, so I hope I've done it right?
all the best Ron , Ian Proudfoot

Congratulations and welcome Ian!
I'm pleased to say that, having seen Ron at last year's International, he is still going strong even if his 541 days are over.

Re: Jensen 541R 1960.
All,
Historics were able to find a buyer after the auction and put a deal together. The car has now been collected and the new owner is very happy with his purchase. He has already signed up as a member of the JOC and intends to use the car and show it regularly. Hopefully we will see it around again in the South of the country.
It was great fun being the custodian of this car over the summer and we thoroughly enjoyed driving it around.
