Re: Mk1 Int at H&H Auction
Wasn't this one on ebay a few weeks ago at £52k. I thought it was Martyn FF Douglas's car but I might have got that wrong.
Re: Mk1 Int at H&H Auction
Different one Peter. Here's Martin's old car on eBay now.

Not the one I was thinking of but thanks Stuart. I felt sure it was maroon and from the ebay seller "Bacardi boy" and had the reg STN. No matter......maybe Matron just needs to give me some more pills....

You've probably got a better memory than me Peter.

Re: Mk1 Int at H&H Auction
Anybody else notice drivers side C pillar hasn't got the Jensen badge and indent on the first photo, but all other photos do, raises alarm bells. Looks to be a nice car but closer inspection needed, the rear hatch isn't even around driver side corner. I like the colour is that original?

That is really strange, you can see the 'photoshop' marks still on the picture. Why would they have done that? If anyone goes to see the vehicle, i'd be interested to read the feedback here.
Found a Vignale built LHD MK1 in South Africa, Sincar #15, chassis 117/2592.
On a long and winding road to restore it back to original condition.

INT 2658
2658 was originally painted Special Red but the paint on the car today is not original. Whether it replicates the original is a question only the restorer can answer.
Aside from the missing C-pillar badge, look at the strange white "reflections" on many of the body panels. They look like deliberately drawn scratches rather than naturally occurring yellowish reflections from overhead. They extend through lighted and dark areas in the same intensity and are made to join up with the naturally occurring reflections. Bizarre.
