Re: Mk3 Int at Anglia Car Auction
Another one with air con deleted.....and another potential sales opportunity for 007aircon (Pat)!
At that estimate there will probably be enough left in the budget to sort the other obvious issues as well.

Re: Mk3 Int at Anglia Car Auction
This seems to be a very, very cheap car. No A/C? That's not a home mechanic job. If this car goes for estimate or less than 25K then the marque is in big trouble value wise. Probably lots of work but still................kenny38
Re: Mk3 Int at Anglia Car Auction
Looks a good candidate for a bit of love and attention to my eyes. But images (and sounds) can be deceiving!
Re: Mk3 Int at Anglia Car Auction
Doesn’t sound too good to me and yet to see the important (costly) areas close up.
Re: Mk3 Int at Anglia Car Auction
21K Plus 10% BP incl VAT, making it around 23k.
Re: Mk3 Int at Anglia Car Auction
That's awful. Our marque is sinking ever so slowly. Tell me if I am wrong. Kenny38

Re: Mk3 Int at Anglia Car Auction
What strange goings on at this auction. The estimate was originally catalogued at £12k-£15k. Mysteriously this became £14k -£18k after the auction. They allegedly had one maiden internet bid of £21k with no other interest and took the full £21k and moved on. If this was a commission bid I would have expected the auctioneer to start within or even below one of the estimated ranges at least. It felt like the winning bidder shot himself in the foot by bidding high from the off and could have bought it far cheaper. Maybe however his sky high bid blew every other interested party right out of the water...who knows?
Re: Mk3 Int at Anglia Car Auction

Re: Mk3 Int at Anglia Car Auction
I would agree with Peter rothery
A very strange way to sell an auction lot
Shame as I was watching this car
The auction walk round chap told me the body would need a good looking at over time along with the chromework
Alas, onward and upward another car
Like this will come up so if you guys know of one please let me know
Really not into red ....sorry
