California Coupe'
California Coupe'
This Jensen Coupe’ (not to be confused with a coupe) is one of 20 made for and sent to the North American market. The VIN number suggests that it was one of 2 bound for Canada, but we know it spent much if its early life in Southern California. I have owned and had the car back in So. Cal. For the past 10 years (always garaged). Before being put in a small Midwest Museum it also spent some time in Washington State. It is a rust-free example that drives extraordinarily strong as the original smog equipment has been removed and it is believed to have had a cam change and engine rebuild by a previous owner. Everything works with the possible exception of the older style AC (for which todays Freon escapes). This car has had a color change paint job (bare metal) as well as a new/refresh/color change interior (both carpet and leather). The original wheels have been professionally restored and sport new tires. The original “upgraded” Blaupunkt radio with cassette remains. The original steering wheel will be included but currently has a new Moto-lita wood wheel. Kjell Qvale signed has signed the glove box door as he loved the Jensen marque and in fact took his 50th anniversary publicity pictures in a Jensen instead of the Jaguar, Rolls or even the Qvale Mangusta. 90,000 miles. Pictures include screenshots of video showing guages (oil, temp, bat and fuel - all working during a recent trip after driving for 20 minutes and going 90-100 MPH. $85,000 USD firm – will work with sellers’ shipper.

It took over 25 years...but I finally got one!
Just added an original LHD Mk3 CV8 to the garage joining the ‘76 coupe’ and the ‘75 convertible (2711-1968)...so now it is three plus the 50 MGTD,a 65 Sunbeam Tiger and a 62 Daimler SP250
