Hello everyone. I'm brand new to this forum and looking to purchase a Jensen Healey. If anybody on here can help me I'd be really grateful. I'm wanting a car that's in excellent condition (not concours), that doesn't need any major work doing to it (Mk2 preferred), and I'm happy to pay the going rate!
I've seen one going to auction on 6 July at Manor Park Classics but as I live in south Essex it's a bit of a way to travel to look at a car that might not be up to scratch. If there is anyone who lives closeby and would be willing to have a look at the car I would be happy to pay for your time and travel.
Many thanks for any help that can be offered. I'm looking forward to making a purchase and joining the club.
John

Thanks, I hope so. From what I've read you all seem a very friendly lot.
Re: Jensen Healey wanted.
just a thought. it might be worth attending the Healey day at gaydon on July 4th. if nothing else you will meet club members and see some JH cars.

Hello John,
Just wondered how you'd got on with your search for a good Mk2 Jensen-Healey?
For my sins I am the JOC Jensen-Healey and Jensen GT Registrar. If you pm me with your email address I'll email you my 'buyers guide' that I cobbled together a while ago to assist anyone who's after a Jensen-Healey who hasn't any previous experience with the model.
Hope to hear from you soon,
All the best,

Hi John,
If you are still searching for a Jensen-Healey it may be worth contacting Appleyards in Ilkeston as I know they had one a month ago.
