C-V8 for sale in Munich

Hi Jens

I don't recognize the car by registration, owners name, location or by reference to photos. But there is one C-V8 Mk11 in Germany that I have no details for and no photos of and I was told last year that it could be coming up for sale in 2020, obviously it is now 2021 but the sale could have been delayed. The car I was told about was 104/2234, and though the info in the Genome doesn't match what I see in the photos, wrong colour interior, it could be that car, or do you know 2234 and can you say it isn't?

I'm pretty sure this is NOT 104/2234 as #2234 currently is in the workshop of Thomas Hoeller in Düsseldorf.

you can't tell by the reg, because it is a short time reg, valid only for 5 days. You'll never see that reg again.

I've just received the information that this is 104/2099.

Interesting. 2099 was last recorded 10 years ago when it was advertised for sale, though the last owner was recorded in 1996 and lived in the UK (Berwick-upon-Tweed). It was red in 2011 but there are enough similarities between the car in the photos from 2011 and the car in the ad to say it is the same car, things like the chrome air filter housing, gold brake servo and brake fluid reservoir and brass rad top, the interior is the same as well even down to the non standard knobs on the heating and ventilation sliders. But I would never have spotted the similarities without being told which car to look at.
