Maybe this car is a victim of giving up replacing the glass. They realized it is too much work to get it all perfectly ligned up!

If you look at the other pictures of the car (use the link) there are a few obvious problems around glass on this car:
1. Windscreen is missing its chrome surround - not something you would be able to fit in a spare hour or two.
2. Left door glass frame is badly aligned. A known fact that these are pretty hard to made fit properly - see the various topics about this (like this one https://www.joc.org.uk/forum/viewtopic. ... h=f61fb491).
3. Tailgate glass is missing. Fitting a replacement means fiddling with the frame, rubber and the stainless steel surrounds. It is not that easy to get the surrounds properly aligned and flush to the frame / rubber.

All these require many man hours work which translate to either expensive or, a very long time struggling.

It was bid to £9k plus fees, reserve not met and now relisted.
