It seems odd that they left the tow rope attached for the pictures :?

its changed a bit hasn't it! From the pics it looks nice...
Am i right in thinking that automatic cars shouldn't be towed?

Depends on the car Richie. The Interceptor can be towed safely in Neutral (N) at moderate speeds. For distances over 30 miles the propshaft should be removed.

I remember that arrival. Some of us had driven over 2,000 miles to get there and didn't need a tow! :lol: :lol:

All CV8 can be towed any distance because the push button gearbox has a second pump. You can even push start them :D

Yes, shame about the tow rope. You'll see from the TV show that they seem to take a lot of their vehicles to that car park to photograph them.

I cant blame the car - the fault lay entirely with me! :D

Such a valuable lesson learned and one that still makes me shudder at the thought of what could so easily have happened.

It didn't sell at the auction, didn't reach it's reserve. It then was on ebay and was at around £15k and was removed as the car is no longer available.
