This car is for sale at Peter Vardy Heritage in Edinburgh with an £80k price tag. I reckon it should be a lhd US supplied car, but it is now definitely rhd and looks to have been put back to UK spec. Can anyone check this in the chassis book and let me know what it should be (colour etc)? Has anyone been to see this car or know it at all? Thanks!

According to the current chassis book, 1666 was a 2311 prefix. 2 = Interceptor, 3 = Convertible, 1 = USA, 1 = California

I may be wrong on this point but it looks as if the steering column has simply been moved from the left to the right side.
On a LHD the indicator stalk and ignition switch are to the left of the steering column. On a RHD car the indicator stalk and ignition switch should be to the right side of the column.
The 4 angled gauges should each have a different angle in the dash so the driver has the best view of each. Here they all look to be the same angle. They're also in the wrong place. The temperature should be closest to the driver and the voltmeter should be the one furthest from the driver. I think the switches are also all wrong for a RHD car.

I never knew the dials in these dashes were at different angles. That was real attention to detail by Jensen.

I'm sure I've seen a picture. Someone sat in the driving seat and then a string was stretched out from their eye position to the dial position in the dash and then the dial face set at right angles to the string. Not very high tech, but effective.
