In many ways that is a good car to start with at that price. The cost home is say £2700. Start by restoring the doors. Either they fit the original gaps beautifully, and you are on your way, or you realise it is harder than it looks and you have many hours to understand where they rust, then you buy a solid running car and that becomes a project.interjen wrote:Looks like it sold for £2350.

A bit of inspiration here for the new owner. https://youtu.be/KkQIyn8tuB8?t=1123" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This guy is restoring a Bedford CF at home and makes all his own panels. In the video he is gas welding without filler rods, letting in new self made repair section, actually a pre war mudguard this time. No grinding or post weld finishing other than lightly planishing the surface. Yes it takes time but with FF panels costing up to £5k a pop, could be a good retirement project for a skilled manual worker.

No, it HAS to be Blackpool Kenny. The Norbreck Castle Hotel & famous Lancashire Rumpy Pumpy, the Blackpool Tower, a tram up the seafront to Cleveleys, all the bright lights and Illuminations. I have great memories of Blackpool, especially the drive back to London after a TVR meeting and a strong dose of Fisherman's Friend..kenny38 wrote:Well if not Blackpool what about Liverpool.
