Yes i have tried in years gone by but always been refused as a current mot required, even now a car of that age does not require one they call it a contribution mot or something so has to aquire one, and that wont even if Fuzz, ies lot had it a month,

Seller probably also found out.
On 14-Apr-19 at 22:03:30 BST, seller added the following information:
NOW NUMBER PLATE INCLUDED: PJ0 2P
@Simon - if you ever had wanted a Saloon then now is the time to buy. What a sight would that be both cars next to each other. Delivered new by the same dealer?

The thought has crossed my mind Dion but I don't want another project, certainly not on this scale. It was me who pointed out to the vendor that you won't get the plate off. Yes they were both supplied by Hughes of Beaconsfield late December 75 early January76. I bet they even sat together in the dealer's and had pictures taken then.
I hope the car will be restored but I don't hold out much hope for her, but then ours looked like this so you never know...
Simon.

I suppose it could be a source of some parts now cars are not being broken but not at this price.

I see it has the remains of a wood dash if somebody is after one?

Buying this historic wreck would be an heroic action worthy of the "Green Birds Fly at Night" award from the club. Don't worry, some Arthur will buy it, do as little as possible and heypresto!! back on the market she will appear ready for the inexhaustible supply of the current generation of mugs. Forget "saving" these relics as Duncan puts it they should be put through the crusher. If you want to know why our decent cars are priced low it is the totally silly prices being paid by gullible punters. I mean just how many Etypes/AM's are ever seen as resto projects. Hardly ever. Prices are kept high by generally reasonable quality cars on offer. Prospective buyers see a car for say 12K and think that spending another 10K will get them their dream car and a glam girl friend from Blackpool.
