I think you need to see this one as one pic the interior looks great the other it looks a bit mouldy. Also there is a V8 next to the car in the driveway with ropes attached. Looks like a Rover V8, possibly from a P5B with that air cleaner. I wonder if the owner has the original V8? Many engine swaps were done back in the day because the 440 was so expensive to rebuild compared to another Interceptor.
I have driven a Mk3 with a manual/Rover V8, it was a nice drive. The owner fitted the Rover V8 manual in a weekend, the running Range Rover donor was on hand to pinch bits off. No need to rewire the engine bay like that for the old V8, or do any chassis changes to fit it in.
Have yet to see an FF with a Range Rover engine and transfer box in!
