1975 Int. Convertible 2311/1649 For Sale of Ebay

Post by Robinson D »

Well presented. Interior needs a lot of work. Not the original engine. Would want a full inspection before considering:

Looks like a small block Chevy engine to me. Nice GM compressor too. Only one picture but looks like it could be a well done conversion. :)

It's actually a Chrysler 360ci engine, as fitted to the Jensen Interceptor S4 models, of which this car is one.

You could be right Martin. It says nothing about the engine in the ad and both engines have similar distributor placement but those rockers with the 4 bolts on top holding them on look like Chevy to me! :)

The ad states the engine size is 5.9 which is the 360 engine as fitted to S4s. The car also has the S4 circuit breakers.

It would be interesting to know the history of this car, whether it was converted in the states or went back to the factory.

Yes that's a chev mtr will be a later 350 cube mtr, its a strange car why the need for the raised centre on the hood ????? that 350 will sit lower than a 440 the front area leather looks pretty nice in the rear its hanging ?????? I suspect a very rough car under that lot,

So Slotcarone was on the ball there then Dunc,Image, so that means Slotcarone wins one of these>>>Image, right.. SlotCar.. I am sick of calling you that.. what is your real name please?Image.. you are a good contributor to the forum and I want to refer to you using your correct name pleaseImage.. otherwise I'm not talking to you anymore!!Image....Image
I tell you what though.. the car we are talking about here is a bit of a muddle, I don't think it is a proper S4 is it otherwise it would have Recaro's etc and a 1975 car would be a Mk3 updated to S4 spec and yet a 350ci Dunc is 5.7 is it not? and in the listing it say's 5.9Image, anyway it is messed around car and a bloody shame at that,.. most problems with Jensens and any car for that matter is the problems that "people" have built into them!!ImageYou know the "F----K It Up Squad".. they need Image..Image
