Until you reach a toll road with pay booths or a car park where you need to take a ticket, or simply wish to drive on the side of the car you're used to driving on as per the norm for your country, or you've simply never driven a RHD car and don't fancy it.
Easy: Put it in N, handbrake, reach over, roll down passenger window, reach out, roll up passenger window, release handbrake, off you go. A bit of yoga type stretching maneuver is involved. Or get out and walk around the car :D . Not just toll roads but also parking garages. If you get stopped by a policeman or at the border, there is usually a moment of uncertainty by the person if he has to come over to you or not- I usually don‘t make much of an effort :D

Try doing that at the Swinford Toll bridge near me (cash) and lots of places where a "beep tag" is the only real option where you have to "buy" the tag and pay to top it up.
It's not always an option and, if driving for example, across multiple countries, can be complex to say the least.

The answer is to always travel with a passenger.

And at that age they are usually very happy to do something like that. Makes them feel important.

:D Good thing the C-V8 doesn‘t have seatbelts in the back... I knock on wood and pray nothing ever happens as I write this. Anyway, RHD is fine
