RHD GT with A/C for sale

Just saw this on eBay. I seem to remember Andy Brooks had this one for sale earlier this year. Unusual because it is an rhd car with a/c, but the notes explain that it was re-imported from the US and converted to rhd at Appleyards at some point in the past. Also interesting is the Lotus Elite/Eclat style airbox, which was fitted to later GTs (and a few very late J-H5s) which had the T75 engine. Will be interesting to see whether the actual sale price gets anywhere near the asking price.

The company has several Jensen's for sale but you have to pay a deposit before you can even test drive the cars.

A few people in the south west have bought from them and then taken the cars back due to "issues". They normally buy from auctions and then in the case of interceptors, whack £10000 on top with no work done to them....

So buyer be aware of their way of working - good or bad, just be aware.

Was also going to say this is at least the 3rd car they have had via Appleyards.

I also remember a couple of very unhappy SW owners.
