This stunning Interceptor was first registered in August 1975.The original service record is still with the car and shows it was serviced in accordance with the manufacturers guidance on 6.1.76. 17.8.76, 14.2.77, 20.6.77,17.1.78,25.7.78, and 10.1.79 when the recorded mileage was 33553.

The current owner acquired the car in April 1980 and has been almost the sole driver of it since then. He used it as his main car for some while and by February 1983 it had travelled 48558 miles before it was put into storage.

The leading Jensen specialist, Cropredy Bridge, was instructed to carry out a full evaluation in May 2007 and their condition report is very thorough and runs to 27 pages.

Cropredy Bridge were instructed not only to carry out all the required works they had identified but also to incorporate their current marque improvements. This was a full restoration that went significantly over budget and was very expensive.The colour was changed at this time from maroon to Jensen Chrystal Blue M4167A and fully retrimmed in near white leather, including the headlining.There is too much to list but everything is itemised on Cropredys invoices now present in a bespoke leather file. The car returned to Cropredy over the next few years at considerable cost to ensure the car remained in first class condition.

I have known the owner, who has been a member of the Jensen Owners Club for many years, and the car for some 10 years and to say that it has been lavishly cared for is an understatement.It has been used regularly but sparingly. We have travelled together on two European trips, reaching as far as Southern Italy , and have undertaken a number of tours around his native Scotland.

In 2015 the car again returned to Cropredy Bridge for a significant and expensive refresh.

This car is fully sorted and reliable and ready to go on any journey asked of it. It looks stunning and drives superbly. The current mileage is still less than 70000 miles.

It is rare indeed to come across such a car,,,with full history form new and with one owner for almost 40 years.

The car is only for sale now as the owner has retired from driving. I am helping him sell the car which is now located in Durham.
