Beautiful car and immense presence .
Still has the correct 2 hole vent dash , but MKIII centre console and lined lower dash .
Was this different for the FF as opposed to the standard Interceptor ?

You are correct Harold, the console and lower dash trims are not originalMr.Mini wrote: Still has the correct 2 hole vent dash , but MKIII centre console and lined lower dash .

Has anyone got a copy of Ulric's book? Not sure if it was this car but I'm sure there was a mark 2 FF bought by William Towns that the factory added some mark 3 bits to when the mark 3 was launched.Grant wrote:You are correct Harold, the console and lower dash trims are not originalMr.Mini wrote: Still has the correct 2 hole vent dash , but MKIII centre console and lined lower dash .

That was an experimental car, not this one. EXP/118 is in New Zealand.

This is Derek and Sue's car, a lovely couple, and absolutely stunning, inside and out, possibly one of the best around.

This is indeed Derek and Sue Sergeants car, i beautiful car and a wonderful couple we were so delighted to meet. We had many great moments with them during the Turin trip and afterwards joining them at the 50th anniversary event at Gaydon. I am troubled that the advert lists due to change in circumstances, i do hope everything is ok.

Re: FF Mk 2 for sale
Thanks for the kind comments. This is indeed our car. Have owned it for 32 years so it's become a bit of a fixture and has given a huge amount of joy over the years. They really are a great car in so many ways and the engineering and driving experience stand comparison to modern performance car levels. I hope we won't regret it but we've decided it's time for a change.
Its funny but over the years I had always thought that one day it would be great to set off on a classic adventure tour somewhere and the Turin 50th anniversary trip was certainly that. A great trip in excellent company, thanks go again to Chris and Shaun for arranging everything. I'll particularly treasure the memory of blasting up and down the Lingotto rooftop test track for a long time to come. So ticked that box and what's next? Not sure yet but maybe it will involve something completely different.
Hope to see you around at future Jensen events.
Sue and Derek
PS - We have just purchased a Citroen 2CV!
PPS - I'm not sure when the car was 'upgraded' with the Mk3 centre console. It was like that when purchased in 1986 and as the car was pretty neglected at the time I guess it had been done a long time beforehand, possibly at the same time as the Webasto roof. As an early Mk2 it still has its original chrome rocker covers and Mk1 rear lamps so they were obviously unchanged. Unfortunately the Factory Records for the car have been lost so will probably never know. Maybe they lost the records when doing the work?
