1000 bhp Interceptor Mk1

Post by Pymmie »

Just popped up on facebook that a Mk1 with upto 1000 bhp has been sold.

Water injected , 8.4 V8 , NOS , Supercharged etc...

I remember the website stating the car had 1000 bhp and could be worth £1 million when compared to a cobra !!

Heres the link to the seller site : http://www.theinterceptor.ru/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A few photos of the car now.

(Don't think it will do well in concours)

Hmmm, rather optimistic. That subtle bonnet bulge won’t help! The headers look precision made to fit.

Wasn't this the one-off special lightweight racing Interceptor that Jensen never built?

My understanding is that the owner thinks it is a factory "lightweight" Jensen, worth over £1.5m ........
