Does anyone know anything about this Interceptor advertised on Ebay?

I don't, but one nitpicking observation: the number plate spacing isn't legal, is it?

Having said that, they may be "show plates" on it with correct ones in the boot - seems it's not unusual, for example among "classic" VW owners who want a number plate in German font (which is not legal here). Why, I don't know - but perhaps I digress from your original question!

Both the spacing and the colour are not legal.

Unless there's something I've missed, the colour should be ok in the UK. Recent changes mean that rolling tax exemption cars can wear black and white/silver plated too.

I forgot that the Black number plate rules had also changed along with MOT and Tax.

Ok, I did say that I didn't know the car and that it was a nitpicking observation.

Perhaps you know something about the car that you can reveal to the OP? If not then your post is no more helpful to him than mine.

Did I see this car when I picked up the C-V8? It's been doing my head in trying to think where I knew the car from :-)

Sorry mate but it looks a ball to have so much attention placed on a number plate,

That was a lovley old bus in Tango that Andy had & used- you all know- so likley someone took a good reliable car & improved.

Tell you this- HE has sold some cars to us all over the years, that were honest & a great deal- SOME have sold SHITE that should result in legal action.

Andy, good guy- end of story.
