1974 Jensen Interceptor convertible for sale

Post by Bill martin »

I am selling my 1974 Interceptor convertible, I have owned the car for 18 years.
I did a complete ground-up restoration on it.
Everything was either replaced or rebuilt.
All of the rubber bushings were replaced with polyurethane.
All the glass seals and door seals were replaced.
A new top was installed and the power top pump was rebuilt.
This car has never winter and is stored in climate control warehouse during the winter.
The gas tank was cleaned and coated with a special resin.
All the brake calipers were rebuilt.
A new OEM driveshaft was also installed
The engine was rebuilt again recently and only has 1500 miles on it. I also installed a 6 rib serpentine belt system from March Performance. Along with that, I installed a new power steering pump, new water pump, new AC pump. and had the alternator rebuilt. The engine was balanced and dynoed at 515 FT-LB of torque.
I installed new headers and had them ceramic coated.
I four core rad was rebuilt and I installed new Spal fans putting out 3200 CFM through a custom shroud.
I have never had an overheating problem.
All the headlights and fans are run through numerous relays.
The original wheels were completely refurbished and still look great.
During the restoration, the body was soda washed to bare metal and the undercarriage was sandblasted.
All rusted metal was removed and the metal replaced.
I have the pictures of the car after the procedure was done
New stainless steel brake lines were installed.
Complete new wiring harnesses were installed in the engine bay, the dash harness as well as convertible.
A completely new interior was done, new Wilton wool carpets were installed with extra insulation installed under the carpets.
A new Italian wood and leather steering wheel were installed.
The front and rear bumpers, the mirrors as well as the door handles were all re-chromed.
A complete new stainless steel exhaust was installed.
When the top was installed new pistons and new high-pressure lines were also installed.
All new relays were installed and labeled as well as new micro switches.
This work took me years but was a true labor of love.
This past winter I installed new seat foam cushions and redone the leather.
All the dash bulbs were redone in LEDs for extra brightness. I also install a manual override switch for the fans and fan running light indicator.
I am pricing this car at 60,000 UK pounds or the Canadian equivalent. I am open to offers.
Interested parties should contact me for more pictures and information at billmartin999@gmail.com
The car is located in Ontario, Canada

Maybe one of our European cousins would like to buy this, meet up with the guys touring from the UK and ship the car back to the UK. I'm happy to deliver to the Dutch / German trip :-)

Zac
I plan on taking my saloon to North Carolina.
But if someone wants to have it for the Jensen East that can be arranged.

I was sure I had gone over the write up on my convertible but I made a mistake.
The price should read 60,000 UK pounds or the equivalent in Canadian dollars.
