I think you'll find that it's actually a 1963 car

Re: 1963 cv8 on car and classic
Hello
This car now so forlorn was once owned by my father John Derek Sweetmore and was sold for £500 in perfect condition in 1973 when fuel ration coupons were issued!
It was the most vile shade of pea green when my father bought it, and he had it resprayed in Rolls Royce regal red.
It was a mk1 with mk11 modifications made to it before leaving the factory, and was sold via Charles Follet? to it's first titled owner, and that is the registration number on the car when my father purchased it in the 1960's.
We travelled across France and over the Pyrenees just after the brakes went!!,and across Spain and then all the way home with just the front brakes made operational!
John the CV8 registrar told me it had last be heard of in the 90's in the Lancashire area.
I always wanted this particular car and tried to trace it over many years, having failed to persuade my father to let me pay for it weekly from my apprentice wages. after that he made my mother drive it after he purchased a new car, later it was sold and ended up covered in rubbish with a 9' wall completely around it in the Potteries area.
Today I have a Mk11 CV8 and other Jensens that I am fortunate to really cherish.
Thanks
