My Jensen 541 Deluxe

Hi all, reluctantly selling my 1958 Jensen 541 Deluxe, I have owned the car since 2015, and bought it off an elderly gentleman who had been the owner since 1981. It has a very interesting history with the first owner still on the original green buff log book being Evelyn Robert Adrian de Rothschild, of the Rothschild banking dynasty (his estimated net worth $20 billion) with his personal signature on which I have checked. I was told by the previous owner he had purchased the car for his then wife Jeannette May who he later divorced, and in 1981 she disappeared under mysterious circumstances whist on a skiing trip. The car has then since had several owners but has only covered just over 28,000 original miles from new with 15+ MOTs to back that up, most recent one from 2012. The history file with this car is impeccable with original green buff logbooks, all MOTs and a lot of receipts from over the years. The body is in great condition but has been standing while in my ownership for the last 3 years so will need work, we did run the engine when we first bought it but has not been run since. Interior is complete and original but could do with some restoration. The car is currently red but the original colour is moonbeam grey with red interior which I think is a great combination. It is a deluxe with the wire wheels and front and rear disc brakes. This car is a great project for any Jensen enthusiast or classic car lover, with it being complete and not needing too much to get it up to a great standard and with the low original mileage and perfect history file.
