Its been on there before.
Seems not a lot of money considering what some Interceptors are fetching at the moment.

Poeple never really seem to go for Mk2's Steve do they, always Mk1's or 3's, they don't seem to sell that well, always overlooked for some reasonSteve Payne wrote:Its been on there before.

Notice the steering wheel Steve, same design as the usual early and late Mk2, but big like the early ones and deep dish, I did have one of these wheels on my very 1st early Mk2 years ago,.. didn't like it, too dishy ... "Fishy on a Dishy"

Its been on there a while. Could that be something to do with the asking price, though?Steve Payne wrote:Its been on there before.

Could be a decent buy at that price. Depends on the bodywork - especially the floor pans and inner sills.
Got to be congratulated for having a bonnet rubber fitted and the scuttle air vent not painted body colour
Not sure whether the bonnet is fully closed, but if it does fit and shut properly, that's a big tick in my book. Separates the good'uns from the wannabes. Painting the rear light bases body colour doesn't particularly jar - the paint colour probably helps.
Needs a bit of extra detailing (exposed alloy edge to grille and side vents, better front lights, some boot panelling, period looking radio, steering wheel replaced - looks distorted, new front seat bases, front bumper replaced / number plate rehung).....but that's my idle thoughts while sipping a cuppa!
I can imagine a couple of dealers tweaking something like this and asking £50k plus - so if it's been for sale for some time, maybe the fact they haven't bought it answers the question? Or is it because of the time of year, economy cooling, too much stock?

Mk2 for sale. Looks good.

Happy days, put a smile on my face.
