Hi all,

I have have decided to put my mk2 up for sale if anyone is looking for a project.

Very original car, sills and body need work, also needs complete mechanical recommission. Interior in good order. For more info please e-mail mattdalley6@gmail.com.

she is a non runner but the engine turns over by hand.

outer sills need replacement, inner sills fail the screwdriver test but may be saveable (always the optimist) to avoid taking the car apart. Floorpan has been well undersealed and is free from rust, no rust holes on body.

The interior is in much better condition than any other project car i have seen.

£200 worth of new parts,air filter, distributor cap ect included in sale.

Its has the free revving 'E' series engine, produced before the anti smog regulations came into force. 330bhp from the factory.

The car is somewhat known to the club, I'm just looking for what i paid for her - 10k

Its gone to a restorer in south London, he was sourcing one for a client. I will endeavour to find out if he is a member. It's going to be subject to a full restoration, which im glad about, its a good car and deserves a good job done. It was however too big a project for me. Im now looking for a car higher up the scale... 25k mark.
