I love the look of the later dashes, so much better than the earlier plastic ones.

Yup- looks a terrific quality sorted example- my only pet hate are blacked wheel centres- should always be dove grey!!!
I think the new owner will be very chuffed indeed (esp when he re-paints the wheel centres )
Always a fan of the walnut dash cars, indeed there was a time they used to be the model to have an fetched a premium over the other cars.
I have had them still own one, never an issue with them unless the windscree pissing in causing the walnut to de-laminate.
Still think the mk111 vac dash is a think of genius though, unique nothing like it- like a personal aircraft! ideally own both versions!!
Good luck with the sale.

Couldn’t agree more. Rarely do you see an Interceptor with dove grey wheel centres, it looks so much better.Tim SP wrote:my only pet hate are blacked wheel centres- should always be dove grey!!

Re: Interceptor 111 car and classic
I've decided to try the auction route for selling my car. It's in the next auction at the NEC as part of the Practical Classics show on the 24th March.

Good luck with it - deserves a top price and the buyer will still have done well.
