This is a local car for me. I have called and emailed repeatedly for months to request to see it, all to no avail. Now having read their description, it appears they may not have known what an Interceptor was when I left my messages. It was offered for sale for $50,000 with no pictures or details before. Looks like the front bumpers took a hit.

I'm struggling to find anything correct in their description.

Maybe some credit for spelling "Jensen" right?

Jeez those hideous double bumper monstrosities really show how bad things got at Jensen. Every time I see them it is a "what were they thinking" moment. Clearly nothing must have been left in the piggy bank.

I think those double bumpers were a response to US regulations that mandated a certain low speed crash resistance. They are mounted forward of the usual position and there in an infill behind the bumpers to hide the mountings. This in fact makes those cars slightly longer overall by a couple of inches than a standard Interceptor.Julian wrote:Jeez those hideous double bumper monstrosities really show how bad things got at Jensen.
