541 for sale

With considerable regret I am offering my 541 for sale. I am losing my storage at the end of the summer, so I either have to find a new home for it or sell. Entertaining serious enquiries. This is 541585633. Originally reg KNL100 in Imperial Crimson with Beige interior. This is a project. Paint is stripped off the glassfibre, windscreen is out as is most of the trim. Everything is there and there are some spares. The engine is a gold seal replacement and the car has overdrive and there is a stainless exhaust. It was last on the road about 12 years ago when the unsecured bonnet flew up and smashed the screen (new one included) and parted from it's mountings. The owner didn't know what he wanted to do and the car sat at a repairers for seven years awaiting instructions. No rot visable... not the usual basket case, but I am sure it will need welding somewhere.

Of course Dave. The car either goes or I am spending most of my summer getting it in a state to move on to another home. Where it is it has a car restorer to do the welding and a fibreglass expert next door tò help with the body. I cannot afford to have everything done by others and am running out of goodwill.... and time.

Hi Chris,

can you confirm the registration number please? we have some uncertainty in the records for chassis 58 (RSU 647 vs RSU 667). The records show the original number to be KNL 100.

I do have a picture of it wearing 4168 BB. The owner two back said that it had other numbers but I have no more information.
