After 15 years of ownership I have decided to part with my cherished Jensen 541S
This is no ordinary car having been rebuilt to an extremely high concours standard and known well by the Jensen Owners Club.
I entered 5710 Pl in the club concours competition only once, that was in 2009 and it won best in class, Presidents cup and members choice with I was told, the highest number of points ever attained, I still have the judges score sheets where it scored 10 in many areas.
It then went on to feature in the Meguires best of the best competition at the NEC in November of that year.
Since the rebuild I have used it sparingly on dry days only and kept it in the same fine condition as when it was first shown in 2009.
This year I attended the JOC International gathering at Derby and having not entered it into the concours I was pleased to receive the members choice trophy.
An extensive history file accompanies this car together with over a thousand photographs which have been used by other enthusiasts engaged in restoring similar cars.
I have been told I should get around £90,000, Don't be afraid to make an offer.

Yes, yes and yes. Right on all three counts. This is a very restful restoration - although it is immaculate and perfect, it is not glitzy or intimidating, as shown by the attitude of other owners as they looked at it. Although I can't judge the mechanicals, it is hard to see how this could be bettered.

I can only say, this is one of my all time favourite cars.
The description is totally correct, in that it is indeed a truly exceptional car.
Keith, it must be akin to selling a child!
If only I had a large sum of money burning a hole in my pocket....
