Met a guy yesterday at the NEC show who was new to Jensen who planned on bidding for it as it is up for no reserve.

I did say that I thought it had been on the forum and to check it out as he was unaware of the hidden "treasures" of this vehicle..... bonnet, SP, body work generally and B pillar issues.

Suggested he check the forum out before getting in too deep without prior knowledge especially as he is remote bidding.

This car sold for 29,000 pounds on Saturday.

Two ways to look at this that is an amazing figure for such a rough old SP but really pleased for the seller as the car has increased in value while he has owned it the last couple of yrs,

What it should really mean but does no,t is that an average condition on the road SP not needing a restoration circa 45k a really nice 8 out of 10 SP should command at least 80k and a raving mint showroom example over 100k, but i doubt that will happen,

Hope the high bidders had seen the car though,
