A 1975 Jensen S-V8 Roadster?

... maybe some research necessary?

Bit mixed up, says it's an S-V8 4.6. and 7200cc below in specs, either way it's not £125K's worth, strange how these ads are drawn up and nobody proof reads them.

Perhaps the ads have been corrected but I see the same Interceptor convertible in each ad and also the original auction details, the price is given as £95K on eBay and on the seller's website and I see the auction estimate was £85-90K so all the present vendor is doing is trying to sell at just above the original auction estimate. Whatever we think of a blatant flip (the classified ad even copies the auctioneers decription of the car) I see nothing wrong with the ad. Also, if the car is as good as it looks, and is near concourse as described, it's not massively over priced (i seem to remember other convertibles being offered at that sort of price).

Regards

John

Given that the mileage is apparently only 25,000 the price seems a little more reasonable. I'd still rather spend that sort of money on an FF though....

Hmmm, 1990 again??!!

Trade seemingly is trying to up the anti, thats fine so long as it doesnt stal the market, on keeping tabs, the convertible role seems to have been turned round, it was always the big money Jensen, always held good money way more so than all models, yet this boom, the early cars (good!) have been the big interest, FF's esp.
When you think of one of the very finest conv's Kieth sold & the utter bargain that was Bonz's old bus (less than 60k) & in fine condition makes you wonder where the value is at mo.
That said, like that dreadfull 'million quid cars' prog last night, you can always come down not up & only takes the right person to 'fall' for the car.
Tis a funny old game!
Like that trader said- you dont want a ton of euros stuck into a car when the bubble bursts.

Is this a converted convertible LHD to RHD as the wipers are parked at the wrong side?

...and look at the position of the radio aerial and no side grille indicators, potentially a very sloppy conversion, and 25,000 miles(??), yeah sure, lol!!
BUYER BEWARE!!

and the fact it still says registered 1990 although it states 1975 - would that be the year it was registered in the UK?

Chassis number 2311/1666 is indeed a USA convertible, which has been converted to RHD.
