It belongs to a vehicle repair company in Glasgow.

So it has been sold by the elderly 90 plus year old owner who I contacted a month or so ago, and these guys are now looking to flip it, best of luck to them

Many years ago there was a chap in Paisley (close to Glasgow) who had a 541R and I am wondering if it is the same car.
He drove it down to my place in Suffolk for stainless exhausts fitting. However, saying that, it looks like the tail pipes in the photo could be rusty ??
First owner listed as an Ian Aitken in my records.

Just checked some early records and the man in Paisley was George Richie and it was the same car that visited me in the 80's. So more than one owner methinks !!

It was George Richie who I spoke with a short while ago.

I didn't have enough enthusiasm from his description to go and see the car.
