1976 Interceptor Coupe for sale - only 20,800 miles!

Long time Jensen owner David Rodger is ramping up to sell his beautiful original low mileage LHD Coupe and is putting it out to the Jensen community first, before listing it through other commercial avenues.

I am posting this on his behalf as he would rather take time to baby his car than learn how to start his computer! Apparently old dogs are selective about what tricks they chose to learn! 1976 Jensen Interceptor Coupe.

Chassis #2711/1989 built June 1976 second to last one built of 39 in total.
First sold in Florida from a Rolls Royce dealer in the spring of 1977 in Palm Beach Florida
Bought by the second owner 6 months later then sold to me in Jan 1989 with 14,000 miles on the clock. The current mileage only 20,800.
Restoration started with the engine compartment winter 89/90
Engine remanufactured by Chrysler Canada 1990, transmission rebuilt as well as the 4 barrel carter carburetor. The power steering rack was also refurbished.
Engine compartment and front suspension were all sandblasted and repainted.
Gas tank was removed, refurbished and resin coated.
The reassembly of the front suspension included new powder coated coil springs, shock absorbers, bushes and bearings. Brake calipers and rotors were also rebuilt.
Wheels sandblasted, machined and powder coated.
New brake master cylinder and refurbished the power booster Mar. 2013
New headers and new steering column. Feb. 2013
Refurbished radiator and fabricated a new header tank.
Replaced 4 bladed Lucas 10" fans with 5 bladed Bosch fans and fabricated a new cage to accommodate the larger fans. A new fuse box was fabricated to handle the new fuses and relays for the fans.
Installed new foam inserts in front seat cushions but retained original seat covers with lambswool detail.
Replaced all hoses, hydraulic, radiator etc.
Hood ( bonnet) stripped, cleaned and painted.
Body has no rust with original paint and has never experienced any inclement or winter weather.

Ultra rare ‚Coupe‘ … for the hard core Interceptor enthusiast who needs to have all three body styles in his/her collection.
Wondering if this one might ending up in a container to Europe. Even if classic car prices in general appear to be healthier in the US currently, the appreciation for the Interceptor - for whatever reason – seems to be lower than in Europe where prices have gone up substantially within the last 36 months.
This very special Jensen hopefully will find a good home.
