I presume this is Merlin! If so see http://www.joc.org.uk/Interceptor_Mk_1/117_2616.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for a few details and photos.

EDIT
See newer posts it could be http://www.joc.org.uk/Interceptor_Mk_1/117_2705.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

From Steve's website: "Of the Mk1 series, this was the only Interceptor exported to Monaco".

I believe this is not necessarily the truth as my 117/2582 was sold new to Monaco as well and even a few months earlier than 117/2616.

I think this could be the car. It's not Merlin. I like this better than Merlin as the interior looks original.
It does look magnificent.

To be picky.... I do not like:
the too modern bulky mirrors
redline tyres
wire wheels
S4 headlamp surrounds

But I wish my car was in a similar condition!

The mirrors look fine to me, certainly better than the 'joke' mirrors of the Interceptor R & S.
But all that stuff can be retro-fitted to original spec at minimum expense.

This car was the 1967 Belgium Motor show car..After the show was shipped back to Jensen and fitted with 68 upgrades ? then sold to the first owner in France,,come with all original paperwork..Best non original upgrade is it now has the Painless chyrsler wiring loom..no more fuse box in the engine bay and miles of ugly wiring..

This car is really special.
You could advertise it on mobile.de to target mainland European buyers, where they drive on the right.
Most British drivers are not keen on having a LHD car.

I've seen this car in person and it is absolutely incredible! Beautiful to look at inside and out, runs perfectly. The best I've ever seen. Built by one of the best and owned by a true enthusiast who knows these cars very well.

Although this mirrors are probably from Jaguar XJ6 and also standart for Jensen Mk III US specs, you should know, that it almost exact copy of the Mopar rally mirrors from the end of sixties, so it correct for period at least.
