Many of the modifications to Merlin were discussed by K & D on the old Jensen Cars mailing list as they were in progress. The new list is here https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/jensen-cars" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It is interesting how, thankfully, over the years the Mk1 and fixed head cars have become appreciated. When Merlin's restoration was started, Mk3's and convertibles were the cars most people wanted and spent money on. I remember Keri posting about the look of those bumpers, and the interior.

Been their done that. Put my 76 convertible through Rosso and Steel in Monterey a few years ago. Too car with only 3200 original miles. Was looking at over $100,000 top bid was $58,000 so I pulled it. Jensen’s are still not appreciated in the US. My car needs to go to Europe.

Did you put it on mobile.de yet?
I think we discussed it a long time ago.
You have stated that you did not want to "Agressively" market the car, whatever that means.
If you are as charmless and abrupt in real life as you appear to be here, people will be reluctant to deal with you.
No matter how good the car.
:)
And you have shown little interest in fully explaining the car's virtues.
We had to prod you into posting photos.
It's not enough to simply say, "Here it is, and it's the best, so buy it!."
I think you need to admit that after two and a half years on here, your method is not working.

There some things here confusing at first read. Does it need import duty to be imported to the EU, or Monaco? Is sufficient documentation available to avoid import tax which would be reasonably high otherwise.

Some things I did figure out: Those wire wheels, I only discovered they were one of Qvale's options when new in the states (obviously for Mk 3s), so back in the day someone might easily have taken a Mk1 in for a set, standard wheels come too.
The Nose Job comment from Felix, that applied to Merlin not this car, which took me a while to figure out. Which also means it doesn't have the 370bhp motor, special pistons, fuel injection, modified rear diff, alloy heads, It also has a nice standard looking interior, etc. Definitely a plus if you like the simplicity of standard cars. The main mod it has is the engine bay harness from what I gather reading the adverts.

With the difficulty of viewing a car in the US, the car being LHD, UK asking prices being both high at the top end and sometimes low at the bottom end, I can see it is in a slow moving position in the market.

Presumably Britarms wants a low hassle sale to someone with a genuine interest in an LHD Mk1. On Mobile.de you will no doubt get the usual scammers, salespeople and losers in droves calling up. Plus it probably costs a few €100. If you are a busy private enthusiast that doesn't immediately need to shift it, advertising here can be a good way. I used to advertise cars like that on the FF home page for people. When I sold my own cars on there, the buyers I got were all looking for an FF, they didn't spend two weeks messing about then decide to buy a Ferrari.

.
According to the Chassis Data Book 115/2953 had wire wheels from the start - very nice.

I believe Britarms sold his Convertible Interceptor to a German JOC member (who does sometimes use this Forum) a few years ago. That car certainly appears to match Britarms description of being one of "the best", so I wouldn't doubt that this is also one of the finest.
