That's the same car offered for sale at $3000 I think, a few weeks ago. It was then pictured stacked up high on a rack, in New York.
The future ain’t what it used to be.

I think you're right. But now with more pictures so we can really appreciate the additions!

Was previously advertised @ $3,000 on ebay with this picture:

Now some better pictures:

Could be worth doing, otherwise useful source of parts. Be interesting to see what it fetches.

I've been trying to find a picture but I remember seeing this car and talking to the then owner at the 2002 Jensen East meet "Tour de Chesapeake" in Columbia, Maryland. From memory the car had been damaged at the front and the owner made the changes we can see now with what was available at the time.

I do hope someone saves this.

Looks like someone spent a lot of time and effort to bring the original look back:

It's funny - the pictures in the eBay add make the car look like a small model. Maybe they rubbed Vaseline around the edges of the lens of the camera...

Good that someone put some effort into restoring the car. At 24K, though..... You either get a smoking deal or a "Potemkin Village" - depending on the quality of the restoration.

The customised Silver car at the start of this thread was subsequently purchased and imported to the U.K. It has since been broken for parts.

Maybe a misreported VIN in either ad?

It must be a misreported VIN as I bought the car from someone I have known since 1988
