Interceptor wanted .... preferable LHD

Post by Philipp001 »

Hello everybody,
I am new to this forum and want to introduce myself shortly: My name is Philipp from Germany, a British classic car fan and I am now searching an Interceptor preferable LHD. I saw a few Germans in this forum who are quite active and I would be happy if they could contact me by PM to support with some "start help" :) if they have time.
Maybe there is somebody who has an Interceptor LHD (no convertible) for sale? I have searched most sources in the net but only found one LHD for sale in Europe (not USA).
Any offers welcome!
Thank you,
Philipp

Hi everybody

and thanks for the fast support! In the last days (and nights) I scanned the net for everything about Jensen, the more I deal with it more interesting is the brand for me (after owning Jaguars, Triumphs, Land Rovers, TVRs).
Now also the CV-8 fascinates me and it seems to be a very (more classical) alternative to the Interceptor.

So, I am also looking for a CV-8 for a (partly) restoration.

Regards, Philipp

Our German CV8 owners will be able to help you there, sure they'll be along sometime soon to advise you.

joerg and jens: brave words (live fast die young???)- either get ready to duck or roll up your sleeves.

philipp: give appleyards, andrew cassar etc a call. they sometimes have cars for sale which aren't listed.

The brown Interceptor has been discussed

before on the forum

It's not an SP
Mk3 Int 128/4451 - SW Area Rep (Devon/Cornwall)

Understeer - Hitting the fence with the front of the car
Oversteer - Hitting the fence with the rear of the car
Horsepower -How fast you hit the fence
Torque - How far you take the fence with you

Hi Michael125 and Pymmie,
thanks for the hint, I have already had contact with the owner and also followed the topic in this forum.

But finally, after getting more and more involved to Jensen cars, I am curently looking for a CV-8.
Maybe when I finished a CV-8 project an Interceptor will follow :D

Das ist zu befürchten, Philipp

Once you're infected with the virus you're doomed. I started with a C-V8 8 years ago and now have 4 Jensens.

You have been warned.
