Tony Calver, who was earlier expressing an interest in buying this car, has now modified the eBay advert to point out he is selling it on behalf of a friend. Tony is also an Interceptor owner himself.
Bidders will need to bear in mind that the car did not leave the factory as a convertible, which will affect the price.

Re: '72 Interceptor Convertible
Looks like the listing was amended, and has also now been removed from eBay.
The wording still did not state that it started life as a standard Interceptor and had been ( albeit by the looks of it very well ) converted into a convertible.
maybe if the car is re listed / re advertised it will have more of a full disclosure upon the history of the vehicle and its conversion...

Re: '72 Interceptor Convertible
The car is now sold. All the paperwork for the conversion in 1987 is being supplied with the car. The seller (a friend) produced all the history which shows all genuine Jensen parts were used including a new wiring harness.

And still advertised with nothing in the description regarding it being converted to a convertible.
Re: '72 Interceptor Convertible
This car has appeared at Brightwells. (11th April 2018)
The description doesn’t mention it’s been converted.

Re: '72 Interceptor Convertible
Bill martins car knocks this one into a cocked hat. Amazing resto..fabulous upgrades of 45 years of advancing tech, but at the same time keeping the true look and feel of the vehicle. Brilliant...OK ,so it is LHD, but there is no comparison with the UK car with its doubtful history, and decapitated as well. ...Most dropheads had a re-enforced floor pan compared to the saloon. Do you think that this was addressed when the roof was removed ?
