Sidmouth Classic Car Show - 17th September

The Sidmouth Classic Car Show is taking place this year on Saturday 17th September at the Sidmouth Cricket Club. John Pym is unable to attend this year and has asked if I will organise an Owners Club ‘stand’ as Sidmouth is in my ‘neck of the woods’.
This is the fourth time that the show has been held and they are building on the success of the previous years. This year is expected be even bigger and better. The show is organised by the Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce and The Crash Box & Classic Car Club of Devon and the aim is to provide a laid back family day out amid many interesting vehicles.
If you don’t know Sidmouth, it’s a very nice Regency seaside town on the East Devon coast with a nice beach and a good selection of independent shops and restaurants The show ground is only a couple of minutes level walk from the seafront and the town centre. If you fancy a day out in Sidmouth the show car entry charge is less than car parking for the day in the town. Any profit from the event will be used by the Chamber of Commerce on good causes within the town.
As the Jensen Owners Club we have been invited to enter up to seven cars. The show opens from 11.00am. I will find out the time by which all cars need to be in position. The cost is £5 for each car.

I will be attending with my Interceptor. If you would like to attend, please let me know by Thursday 8th September so that I can submit the application the following day.
