Following a successful Drive It Day, run by the South Downs Area (thank you again David Wright); and a well attended Popham Classic Car Show, this is a short note to remind you of our first Southern Area Meeting of 2019 next Tuesday.
Weather is forecast to be warmer and sunnier than the last few days, so it should make for a pleasant drive there and back.

Tuesday May 14th Southern Area Meeting,
The Pub with No Name,
Priors Dean, Petersfield, Hampshire GU32 1DA Tel 01420 588387
6.30pm - 7.00pm

https://www.whitehorsepetersfield.co.uk

For anyone who hasn’t attended before, the Pub is known locally as ‘The Pub with No Name’, but it’s officially ‘The White Horse’.

There’s a large spacious car park and a good food menu (which I’ve confirmed will be available on the night).
Importantly, the Pub is used to Classic Car Clubs and frequented by several others.

Thanks to all of those who’ve responded so far.
We should have a good turnout.
A combination of those who’ve attended previously and some new faces (and cars).
Thanks, as always, for your support.

BBC Weather indicates sunny intervals and moderate breeze, but none of the wet stuff.

Looking forward to it.

We are all set for tonight with a good turnout in the offing.
We have a couple of newbies (and cars) and some of our regular stalwarts.
I have upgraded the weather to an optimal mix of sunny, for any photographs, with a gentle breeze, to help engine cooling.
This seemed ideal, to me at least, but do let me know what you think.
Looking forward to it.
