Popham Areo-Auto Jumble/Classic Car Show Monday 7th May '18

Post by Fishyboy »

Hi all,
On Friday Edward Brown and myself re-launched the JOC Southern Area (https://www.joc.org.uk/forum/viewtopic. ... 02&t=27382" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

Our first major official event of the season is the Classic and Supercar Show at Sherbourne Castle on Sunday 15th of July, 2018 (https://www.joc.org.uk/forum/viewtopic. ... 02&t=27366" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Slots are still available.

However, as I will be attending the 2018 Aero-Auto Jumble, Classic Car Rally, & Vintage Fly-in at Popham Aerodrome (next to the A303 midway between Andover and Basingstoke) on Bank holiday Monday 7th May I was wondering whether anyone would would like to join me and have an informal Southern Area gathering. Popham is a fabulous small-medium show with a autojumble, a great collection of classic cars (over 400) and over 3,000 visitors (https://www.popham-airfield.co.uk/classic-car-rally" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Access is very easy from the M3/A303. All cars must be in place by 10am. Cost is £7.

If anyone would like to attend with their Jensen please feel free to contact me and I can book the appropriate number of places.

Hi Phil

Popham is also on the Thames Valley calendar so if you speak to Brian Raper you could get a joint stand. Details in the mag as Brian doesn't do the forum.
