Re: Name that car
I name that car Photoshop. If you look through the car to the offside interior, as well as the reflections in the windows that clearly aren't the background it is on, it looks to me like it is a four-door (the rear window shape and c-pillar do not match the nearside at all). EDIT: have now noticed d...

Re: Metallic Fawn colour
If it is the one that seems to get applied to any gold/light bronze car, they both suffer from it.

Re: Metallic Fawn colour
My car's metallic fawn. Wouldn't have been my colour of choice, but that's the colour it was, so that's the colour it is and will stay.
Some people love it, but that shade also attracts some pretty wicked nicknames.

Re: Cyclists Rule, OK?
Also, I have already had someone threaten me and others nearly drive into the back of me because I have stopped on the South Circular before turning into my road to allow either cyclists through on the inside or for pedestrians walking beside the A205 to cross the entrance to my road*. This isn't go...

Re: Cyclists Rule, OK?
Some of the new changes (in italics). You should give way to any cyclists in a cycle lane, including when they are approaching from behind you – do not cut across them when you are turning or when you are changing lane (see Rule H3). Be prepared to stop and wait for a safe gap in the flow of cyclis...

Re: London toll charge fine
I don't understand. The fine for not paying the ULEZ is £160 (that's if you didn't pay it originally and then didn't pay within 14 days of a penalty notice being issued), the fine for not paying the congestion charge under the same criteria is £240. Is the fine received actually for driving the wron...

Please also note that I am perfectly OK with them in principle. In December.

SNOWFLAKES!
How do I make the bloomin' snowflakes on the forum go away until at least mid-December?
Actual snowflakes, not overly sensitive young people, though they can 'do one', too.
Bah humbug

Re: E10 petrol
It seems to me the best widely available option for classic car users is Esso Synergy Supreme +. The fuel is 99 octane (or more) and actually has no ethanol in it at all (it says E5 on the pumps, but contrary to popular belief that number is a maximum not a minimum). This will help you find your nea...
