I think BS epitomises British alleged aristocracy most of whom don't know their right hand from their left especially when it comes to motoring facts.

yes flight in a 2 seater Lightning was a real thrill almost as much as driving a F1 car. Unbelievable rate of climb and the g forces were enormous but what an experience. By the way my flight cost zilch thanks to the RAF.

I remember delivering this car to a firm in I believe Lichfield back in 1989. It was in a very poor condition but the engine ran but it had no brakes so getting off the transporter was just a little tricky! I collected the cash for it(xxx£15K). This was the heyday of classic cars being bought & ...

I remember delivering this car to a firm in I think Lichfield in 1988. It was virtually a wreck but the engine ran but had no brakes so when it came off the transporter it was tricky to stop. I delivered it from Paul Banham in Kent who Timsp knows very well! This was when cars were changing hands un...

jensens on tv

did anyone see the Jensen Interceptor on "The Royal" last Sunday? Not being an expert on identities it looked like a MK1 with reg no YFC517. Is it a members car? As the programme is made in Scarborough one could assume it comes from N Lincs or W Yorks.

budget

Reading all the info on the dvla web site tends to indicate that this new TAX only applies to vehicles exceeding the 225gm/whatever registered NEW POST 26/03 2006 which seems to exempt our frugal Jensens from this abominable increase!
