I have just done mine, they had been diamond cut and lacquered but were looking tatty. Taking my usual nap in Leman ST E1 i was woken by the familiar rumble of the V8 , there she was an Interceptor white with a black vinyl roof , very classy looking and certainly standing out from all the usual rubbish that surrounded her .

I have fitted new mains and big end shells in my car without any problems , a little trick to help remove the upper mains shell is to cut one of the old lower shells in half , using the end without the tang and making sure no burrs are left on you can use this to push the upper shell round and down ...
